Ecobear has been bearing out a little. Concerned for this fellow tradies working relentlessly through weather extremities, of heat waves, frost bite, overcast days (which make them sad) and even rainbows (which make them stragely happy)he put this down to heat exexhaustion, dehydration and fatigue, so he devoted his time to developing a drink bottle for all elements - he called it Resilience - the 2L stainless steel bottles for tradies - revolutionary double walled insulation that will keep your beer cool for 30hrs. Now you can trade and shit all day and treat yourself at the end.

And yes, keeps water cool for 30hrs too.

And yes, keeps beverage hot for 24hrs too.

(A sustainable future)The future livelihood of our planet and all that it inhabits is dependent on finding the perfect balance between advancing technology and living as sustainable as possible. We are only human, so we can only do what we can, but all it takes is a few small individual changes to snowball, accumulate, integrate and unite as one to create an avalanche of fresh, new powder - a fresh new beginning. We may not have full control on climate change, but we do have full control on how we deal with it, and we certainly are in control of the state of our homes, our streets, our lakes, rivers, oceans and the state of our planet.

One of the biggest hindrances to change is the contradictory thoughts, self conflict and doubt, "what difference will I make", and to make this worst - accusations and criticism appointed to anyone that wants to help in some shape or form. If you say I'm using stainless steel straws instead of plastic from now on, someone will laugh and say "ha how many disposable nappies do you go through? Then one could say - how much water do you go through cleaning your recycled nappies? Or how much stress is caused when dealing with biodegradable nappies that currently cause more mess, leading to you being more careless and wasteful with other things....." This is why many things can be justified, but the point is the bigger picture. These small individual changes create awareness, and pressurise bigger systems to change, technology to develop, companies with power to eventually enforce better practices. That's the bigger picture, and that is where the consumer and the small town individual can save our planet one persons print at a time.

Judgement in any shape or form is what shapes social and physical systems in any context. It's what stops people doing what they really want or believe in, in order to conform with what's considered socially acceptable in that space and time. It's this conformity that restricts change and development in all forms, but what it does do is create order. With regards to social systems it enables people to create identities, categorise one another, understand oneself in comparision to others, feel safe. It creates structure that although is inhibiting growth, is there to prevent disorder, chaos, confusion. It is this need for control and security through groupings and understanding of ones self and place that is so natural but also so defies the realism of individuals attributes and makeup. People cannot be grouped as we are all so unique. We all share similarities but we all share differences, based on nature; DNA, how we are wired: nurture; personality type, morals, beliefs, habits, addictions, experiences, behaviour embedded. We then form groups, when we are young it's based on genuine similarities of interests, then as we go through school and 20s our groups are based on superficial relationships to help you fit in with a group, to secure yourself a stable group of people who like you and accept you, who are also liked by others, and if you don't have that you feel like an outsider coming and going, then as you get older and older it changes, you strive for relationships with people who share the same humour, views on the world and interests, regardless of who likes who. Whether it's social groupings, individual choices in relationships/career/hobbies/behaviour, sustainable choices, fuk' the world choices, businesses, policies, law, neighbourly influences. All our movements are influenced by external judgement, what will they (my friends, family, neighbours, work, aquaintances, coffee group, daycare mums) think, they say, they will misunderstand this if I do this, but i'm only doing this to enable or do that or because I can't do this. It is this judgement that stops individuals and in-turn communities, businesses governments from doing what's best for themselves, others and societal improvement.

We are a group of great people who dislike assholes. Well not really... no-one is perfect and no-one is all that bad. We have all lived different lives that have shaped us individually and made us who we are today, what we believe in, how we behave and more so how we don't behave. But I believe underneath all the shit there is goodness in everyone, even if it is layers deep.

We are a group of scientists that believe in a better world. We believe that empathising with one another's differences and background is vital.

Our views on what is ruining our planet:

1. Miscommunication

2. Misunderstanding

3. Lack of integration

4. Judgement and ego

5. Greed and power

6. Lack in education

7. Lack in open-mindedness to new ideas

8. Media - fabricating stories and emphasising one side

9. Influential people who create strong followings in particular movements, neglecting opposing theories equally important.

10. Implementing clever systems.

It is a combination of these points that shape our societies from the bottom up and determine the outcome of our future. These points are what we have to address if we want to enable change.

Our mission is your mission. To fight for human and animal rights and justice, and strive for a sustainable future. I can't help thinking what's the point, what difference can we make. But then clarity kicks in, and I remember the power of people in numbers. If one person can touch and enhance the lives of others, imagine what 10s, 100s, 1000s, millions of people can do to create change with better systems and policies, People are creating incredible change everyday,, so why not join in. Change that pessimism for optimism - you can still be skeptical, just don't be that negative bitch that destroys hope.

You can't hold people to what they have once said. Ideas and opinions change and develop through experience and gained knowledge, so it is inevitable for their views to change. If they were'n't to change to some degree, this would be more stupefying.

The survival of our planet is dependent on finding the perfect balance between advancing technology and living as sustainable as possible. We are only human, so we can only do what we can, but all it takes is a few small individual changes to snowball, accumulate, integrate and unite as one to create an avalanche - a fresh new beginning. We may not have full control on climate change, but we do have control on how we deal with it, and we certainly are in control of the state of our homes, our streets, our lakes, rivers, oceans and the state of our planet.

We often question our influence on social and environmental change. What difference will I make?  Every choice we make leaves a print on someone or something. Consumers hold the power through demand and therefore production. Every sustainable choice you make, puts pressure on unethical production lines to change their practice.

Small individual changes create awareness, and pressurise bigger systems to change, technology to develop, companies with power to eventually enforce better practices. That's the bigger picture, and that is where the consumer and the small town individual can save our planet one persons print at a time.

It's a necessary revolution for earth to survive.

Everything in life is a choice, if we start making more mindful choices we can say, yes

Individuals put pressure on companies, companies put pressure on governments to enforce effective laws and policies.
